# Transport settings

You can set up multiple vehicles, manage their registration, carry capacity and drivers.

To do this, go to **Administration > Transport Settings**

This will show you the Vehicle dashboard.

The first tab is **Vehicles**.

NOTE: You will see a 'Transport Prompt' toggle. If this is on, each time you set up a daycare or boarding booking you will be asked if you want to add transport to that booking.

To add a new vehicle, click **+ Add Vehicle**

1.  Enter in all the details relevant to the Vehicle.
    -   VIN (registration number)
    -   Nickname
    -   Vehicle details (make/model)
    -   Max occupancy (carry capacity)
    -   Notes

Submit.

The second tab is **Trips**.

You can set up **Trips** and link vehicles to each particular trip.  
**Note**: This does not need to be setup for Walking as they are part of your walks.  
 

You may setup multiple different trips each day or run a bus pick up in a selected area.

To do this:

-   Click **\+ Add Trip** and fill in the details.
    -   Name your trip.
    -   Set Transport type (taxi for multiple stops, bus for a single stop).
    -   Start and end date (the date range for which this trip is valid).
    -   Occupancy.
    -   Start date and direction (pickup or dropoff).
    -   Location (either starting or end location).
    -   The vehicle to be used.
    -   Description of trip.
    -   Repetitive Period (how often the trip repeats).

Transport Pricing comes from your set Pricing and Pricing Groups.

Click submit.
