No cost (zero/free) bookings

If you need to provide a service or space to customers at no cost, you can set this up using one of two methods.

Option 1: Apply a 100% Discount Modifier
Use this option if you want to maintain a standard price but need the flexibility to waive the fee occasionally.

• How it works: The service retains its regular base price (e.g. $50), but you apply a 100% discount during the booking process to reduce the total to $0.

Option 2: Create a $0.00 Price Item
Use this option if the service or space is always intended to be free, such as a complimentary daycare evaluation.

• How it works: You create a specific price item with a base value of $0.00 and assign it directly to that service.

⚠️ Important: Mandatory Price Items

To ensure accurate record-keeping and prevent accidental free services, every service must have a price item attached, even if the cost is $0.00. JungleChief is specifically designed to prevent you from listing a service without an assigned price. If you want to offer a free space, you must still intentionally create and assign a $0.00 price item to it. This guarantees that all bookings are accurately tracked and purposeful.
