Xero Integration

Go to Administration > Company details - Integrations.

Click Link to your Xero Account.

The Xero log in screen will appear, log in as normal and then select your organisation to connect to.

After activating the Xero integration, you must map your modules to the correct account codes to ensure your financial data syncs accurately.

1. Access Account Settings

  • Once redirected to the Integrations page:
  • Confirm the Xero integration status is Active.
  • Locate the Xero Integration Box and click the new Edit Accounts button.

2. Map Your Modules

  • For each active module (e.g., Boarding, Daycare, Grooming):
  • Click the dropdown arrow next to the module name.
  • Select the corresponding Xero Account Code.

Note: This list only displays account codes you have previously marked in Xero as "Enable payments to this account."

3. Configure the Payments Field

  • The Payments field links your JungleChief transactions to your specific bank account in Xero.
  • Select the bank account where funds are received.

Pro Tip: If you use specific providers like Stripe or a dedicated POS system, you can create a unique account in Xero first, then select it here to keep your reconciliation clean.

4. Invoice Delivery Preferences

Decide which platform will be your primary tool for communicating with clients. Locate the "Use Xero to send invoices" toggle:

Toggle ONXero becomes the primary sender for all client invoices.
Toggle OFFJungleChief remains the primary sender (recommended for most users).

Regardless of this setting, you can still use Xero at any time to generate and send consolidated account statements.
