We are excited to introduce the latest updates and enhancements to JungleChief! Your feedback has been instrumental in shaping these improvements, and we’re confident they will enhance your efficiency and overall experience. Below are the key updates included in this release:
Mass Check-In and Check-Out Feature
Responding to popular demand, we have introduced a Mass Check-In and Check-Out feature to streamline the pet management process. This new functionality allows users to select multiple pets on the Check-In and Check-Out screens and process them all at once, significantly reducing time and effort.
How It Works:
- Users can now select multiple pets within the Check-In or Check-Out screen.
- The check-in or check-out process can then be completed for all selected pets simultaneously.
- This feature simplifies bulk processing, saving valuable time for businesses handling multiple pet check-ins and check-outs.
Important Note:
At this stage, the "Pay on Check-In" function is not yet available when using the Mass Check-In/Check-Out option. However, we plan to incorporate this capability in a future update.
Auto Booking Confirmation
To enhance convenience for daycare providers, we have introduced an Auto Booking Confirmation system, giving businesses more control over how bookings are handled.
How It Works:
- Users can configure auto-confirmation preferences based on different services (e.g., allowing auto-confirmation for daycare while requiring manual confirmation for boarding).
- Businesses can choose from the following options:
- None: All bookings require manual confirmation.
- All Bookings: Automatically confirm all bookings without requiring approval.
- With Payment on Booking: Automatically confirm bookings only when payment is completed at the time of booking.
This enhancement reduces administrative workload and provides pet owners with a more seamless booking experience.
Concession Card System Enhancements
We have made several improvements to the Concession Card System to optimize transaction processing and better manage concession cards.
Key Improvements:
- Bug Fix: Resolved an issue that previously allowed concession cards to be added via the owner portal without an associated invoice.
- Stripe Integration:
- All concession card purchases made via the owner portal will now be processed through Stripe.
- If a payment fails to complete via Stripe, a fallback system will automatically generate an invoice and prevent the card from being activated until payment is resolved.
- Improved Card Management:
- Users can now delete unused concession cards, providing better control over active and inactive cards.
These updates ensure a smoother and more secure experience for both businesses and pet owners.
Owner Portal Enhancements
To provide a more reliable and feature-rich experience, we have implemented multiple enhancements to the Owner Portal.
Updates and Fixes:
- Bug Fixes: Several performance issues and minor glitches have been resolved to improve functionality and user experience.
- Background Improvements: Behind-the-scenes system updates have been made to prepare for an upcoming major refresh and expansion of the Owner Portal. Stay tuned for more exciting changes!
General Fixes and Improvements
Beyond the key updates above, this release also includes numerous general bug fixes and UI enhancements to improve the stability, performance, and usability of JungleChief.
