Special Note regarding setting up your Pricing
We are in the process of implementing a major pricing update that will transition from our current "pricing by space" model to a more adaptable "pricing by pet group" approach. This change will provide greater flexibility in pricing and operations, allowing us to more accurately tailor costs based on the specific needs and characteristics of each pet group. As part of this shift, we will also remove the space selection feature from the owner portal, simplifying the booking process for pet owners and making it easier for them to focus on their pet's individual needs rather than specific spaces.
Since this update impacts a core function of our system, we will share detailed information and special notes in advance to ensure a smooth transition. Keep an eye out for these communications, which will provide guidance on the new pricing model and explain any adjustments in the booking process. Our goal is to make this shift as seamless and beneficial as possible for both our team and our clients.
Dashboard Improvements
We’ve enhanced the check-in, check-out, and in-house lists by adding the owner's name alongside each pet’s profile. Additionally, a picture of the pet has been included, providing a quick visual reference to make identification easier. For added convenience, the pet’s photo will display in a pop-up preview whenever you hover over the pet's name, giving you instant access to a visual reminder without navigating away from the list. This feature aims to streamline the workflow, improve accuracy in identifying pets, and add a personal touch to each interaction.
Invoice Search by Pet Name
We’ve improved the transactions page by adding a new feature that allows you to search by pet name. This enhancement makes it easier to locate specific invoices and payments linked to each pet, streamlining your search process and saving time. The pet's name is now clearly displayed on each invoice and payment entry, and it’s fully searchable within both the invoices and payments sections of the transactions page. This update simplifies record-keeping and ensures you can quickly access all transaction details related to any pet.
Invoice Reference Field
We’ve enhanced the Invoice Reference field by automatically including essential details to make invoicing quicker and more consistent. By default, the Invoice Reference field now populates with the booking number, pet’s name, check-in date, and the service provided. This default information gives clear context for each invoice and allows for easy reference. You also have the flexibility to overwrite this field if you’d like to modify the reference for any reason.
When invoices are synced with Xero, this information will be included, ensuring clarity and continuity in your records across both systems.
